Sigma Nu After Graduation

The leadership, values, and brotherhood cultivated at Sigma Nu serve our members beyond just their undergraduate careers. Members of our chapter have gone on to get higher education degrees at world class institutions of higher learning and have began careers as physicians, lawyers, engineers, accountants, and so much more.

Our chapter has multiple alumni organized entities that help provide further value and brotherhood to graduated members in addition to assisting the undergraduate chapter, including:

Chapter Advisor-Sigma Nu Theta Eta always has a dedicated chapter advisor who provides mentorship, guidance, and high level strategy to the chapter as a whole and individual members as needed. Our Chapter Advisor also serves as a liaison to the Alumni Interfraternity Council, Northern Illinois University, and the City of Dekalb.

Alumni Chapter-The Alumni Chapter is tasked with collecting donations for the undergraduate fraternity and hosting alumni events including our annual golf outing, Commanders Dinner, homecoming, and so much more.

Alumni Advisory Board-Made up of alumni across several generations, the alumni advisory board is tasked with coordinating with the Chapter Advisor to provide chapter level leadership advice and individual mentorship to help develop our undergraduate leaders.

Alumni Housing Corporation-Our Alumni Housing Corporation is in charge of all matters pertaining to the upkeep, maintenance, and improvements to our chapter house at 1114 Blackhawk to allow our chapter to have the best living space possible.
